Biography
Rhythm Divine was
formed in 2006 by long
time Albuquerque drummer Carl Lucero. The band is
set with, traditional
New Mexican music infused
with rock n roll, blues and
heavily influenced by soul,
funk & r&b. With over 60
years of combined experience
on stage the group is a
combination of seasoned and
veteran players and has now perched
at the pinnacle as a true
variety band. The group gained quick
popularity with their
release of Saca la Bottella
followed up by Ven A Mi, and
the Hit Dona Juana, which won
an award as one of the 15 Grandes
de Nuevo Mexico 2008. The
Group also won award for
Instrumental of the year at
the 2007 NM Hispano Music
Awards. Having performed at
some of New Mexico's
finest venues Rhythm Divine continues
and will continue to
play fun dance music for the
people who appreciate good
dance music.
Music
In 2008 Rhythm Divine Released
it's debut CD Get Up And Get Down, The Cd has got
local and national air play. Dona Juana is featured
on the 15 Grandes CD. Saca La Bottella, is on 2009
Lo Mejor De Nuevo Mexico. Rhythm Divine's 2nd CD Is
Available Now!!
